|*****| Welcome to School Year 2014 - 2015 |*****|

Welcome to the Sathya Sai School of Canada

We wish to welcome everyone to the Year 15 at the Sathya Sai School of Canada, and extend a special welcome to our new students and their families. We continue our commitment to Human Excellence and to strong parent-school cooperation in the best interests of our students.

The Sathya Sai School, Toronto, Canada, is a model school for values education in Canada. The school offers the Ministry of Ontario Curriculum integrated with values-based education for students from Kindergarten (Full-time) through Grade Eight. The school's mission is to promote Human Excellence in students by balancing character education & academic achievement.

Inaugurated on September 2, 2000, the non-profit private school is open to all students regardless of socio-economic status, ethnic origin or religion. The school aims at developing each child’s potential by drawing out the infinite intelligence and goodness latent in every individual through emphasis on the human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Nonviolence.

This educational approach employs a variety of effective teaching methods structured around the five human values, including daily light meditation, discussion of the values, yoga, and community service activities. Specially trained teachers further integrate the human values within the learning of traditional academic subjects such as math, science, language, social studies and physical education.
